Perusahaan keamanan McAfee telah merilis tool baru yang didesain untuk mendeteksi dan memperbaiki adanya serangan ?Operation Aurora? ke Google dan ancaman lain akibat dari lubang keamanan browser Internet Explorer. CTO McAfee, George Kurtz, menjelaskan, bahwa tool tersebut merupakan versi update dari aplikasi removal virus perusahaan Stinger.
?Aurora Stinger telah didesain secara khusus untuk mendeteksi dan memperbaiki semua varian virus yang dikenal Aurora dan ancaman lainnya. Selain itu, juga termasuk link ke cloud berbasis McAfee Global Threat Intelligence, yang juga berarti akan mengambil semua varian yang ditemukan secara real time tanpa meminta update ke file yang dideteksi tool Aurora Stinger.? ungkap McAfee.
