Hello,
I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium.
I bought the full version, but just chose to upgrade, not fully install.
I did this because a Windows Update caused a problem with my network card software and I lost my Internet Connectivity (my computer could not "see" the network.)
After the update, which ran fine, I got my Internet back, but now I cant download a thing.
If I try to go to Youtube it doesnt play anything, the screen is just black.
Any suggestions? Very frustrated.
I am running AVG Internet Security with Windows Defender Firewall.

Another Flash player problem

I can neither install the latest flash player not uninstall the existing installation.ÿ The computer hangs on install displaying [c:Windowssystem32MacromedFlashuninstall_activeX.exe] and when trying to manually uninstall the uninstaller utility hangs

I have tried rebooting the pc and starting from fresh with no programs loaded.

Why doesnt this happen sometimes?
Because RunIdle task is scheduled to run eventually after sometime of idle usage
if you do boot defrag immmediately after installation,
RunIdle task hasnt got a chance to run at all so you have to invoke it manually
if you want to start the operation immediately.

See the attached image...the picture is anchored to the line, and vertically set to "centered" to line"...

the red line shows an extension of the center of the picture, which extends to a position between the anchored line and the line above

I know i can use the absolute position and make an adjustment, but if i change the image size, it would stay centered, and i need to re-figure out the offset

Hi all, i want to ask about my notebooks battery meter...
My notebooks battery meter/indicator doesnt increase / move up when it reaches 85%....
ÿIt happened yesterday, i wanted to charge the battery because the notification showed that the battery meter had reached 10%
then, i plugged in the AC adaptor...
after 2 hours(usually my battery will be fully charged in 2 hours although I open many heavy programs such as Windows media player, Mozzila, etc), i thought my laptops battery already fully charge / 100%..
but it wasnt
fully charged...
only 85%....
then I let it charged for a few hours again maybe it would be full....
but it didnt change significant...
only increased 1% into 86%

Did you do any hardware/software changes on your laptop recently?

You may try the below 2 methods, one by one, and check if this helps.

a.ÿClick on Start button > All programs > Samsung > Battery Life Extender > Battery Life Extender.ÿ
b.ÿClick "yes" if prompted.
When the program launches you should have the option to go back and forth between 100 and 80% on your battery.
c.ÿSelect this option and check for the issue.
Method 2: You may also try these steps which has helped few in resolving such issues.
a.ÿTurn off your computer/laptop and let it cool down.
b.ÿUnplug the power supply and take the battery out for about 5min.

Make Sure that your Computer Meets the System Requirements

Microsoft Windows Requirements :

• 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
• 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

I dont care what you read anywhere else, 4GB is the sweet spot for most of W7s benefits so you should get there asap.

Manually editing the Windows registry to remove invalid MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION keys is not recommended unless you are PC service professional. Incorrectly editing your registry can stop your PC from functioning and create irreversible damage to your operating system. In fact, one misplaced comma can prevent your PC from booting entirely!

To manually repair your Windows registry, first you need to create a backup by exporting a portion of the registry related to MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION (eg. Windows Operating System):

• Click the Start button.
• Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!
• While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
• You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.
• Click Yes.
• A black box will open with a blinking cursor.
• Type "regedit" and hit ENTER.
• In the Registry Editor, select the Error 0x9C-related key (eg. Windows Operating System) you want to back up.
• From the File menu, choose Export.
